Happy New School Year! 

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year in Junior High! I have taught for 19 years, 14 here at Brittan Elementary School. Eleven of those years I have been in Junior High. I have really enjoyed teaching Junior High students. Sutter is a wonderful town with amazing people.

Google Classroom: All junior high teachers will be using Google Classroom with their subject matter. The first week of school please make sure your child is signing in and seeing what the plan is for the week. The class code will be sent to you by email. It will also be sent to the students on their Google Classroom account if they had one at Brittan last school year.

 

Math Textbook: I am in the process of making the textbook available to students online through Google Classroom. If you want a hard copy of the student book please email me, and I will get one checked out to your child.

 

If you are having issues with Google Classroom, first, make sure that when your child is signing into Google Classroom that they are using the Google account that was given to your child by the school. If you need help please let me know.

 

 

Grades: Aeries (Please make sure you are using Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.)

CPM has a helpful website for the homework. Most of the "examples" are the same questions on the homework. So if your child left their book at school, the website will have nearly the same questions as the textbook.

 

Homework Help is available at https://homework.cpm.org. 

 

At the website, you find your child's math book Core Connections, 6th grade is Course 1, 7th grade is Course 2, and 8th grade is Course 3. Then click on the number that matches the lesson from the Golden Ticket. The website will lead you to the homework questions.
